Senior Fellow at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI) and Associate Professor of the Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering Department at the Polytechnic School, and a collaborator of the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (COPPE’s Production Engineering Program), both at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is a member of IBRACH’s Scientific Council.

His teaching, research, development and innovation activities focus on Strategic Management, Technology and Innovation. He coordinated a research project on Innovation and Competitiveness in Chinese Industry (2010-2011), among others, and has been following the evolution of China’s innovation efforts since then.
