Monique Sochaczewski holds a PhD in History, Politics and Cultural Assets from DOC/FGV, where she also carried out a post-doctoral internship. A professor at the Brazilian Institute for Education, Development and Research (IDP), she is also a fellow of the Summer Institute for Israel Studies at Brandeis University and an alumnus of the US State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Co-founder and Senior Researcher of the Middle East Studies and Research Group (GEPOM), she researches topics related to Brazilian foreign policy, the history and current situation of the Middle East, feminisms, culture and identities in International Relations.
